Face treatment
Face mask with oats and lemon
The best time for this mask is in the morning before bathing. Oats reduce irritation and nourish the skin. It also acts as a scrubber and removes grease and dirt. Lemon juice helps to lighten skin tone as it is rich in vitamin C.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon oats – cooked and blended
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions: Mix all ingredients in a bowl and apply the mask on your face with a gentle massage. Let it dry for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water and dry with a soft, clean towel. If you have sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with water.
Face mask with turmeric and tomato
You can apply this mask in the morning before bathing or in the evening before going to bed. The tomato contains lycopene, an antioxidant that protects against damage from ultraviolet radiation. In addition it has anti-aging properties.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon turmeric
1 tablespoon tomato juice
Directions: Mix both ingredients in a bowl until a smooth paste is created. Apply the paste on your face and leave it on for about 15 minutes. Rinse your face with cold water.
Potato Face Mask
You can apply this mask twice a day – once in the morning before bathing and once in the night before going to bed. The potato gives a natural glow and a youthful look to the skin. All you need is a raw, mashed potato.
Apply the potato pulp on your face and leave it on for about 20 minutes. Rinse with clean water.

Body Treatment
Olive Oil and Sea Salt Scrub
Mix olive oil and sea salt in a bowl. The ratio of the mixture should be two parts of oil to one part of salt. Apply by rubbing your body and gently massaging for a few minutes. Rinse with cool water. It removes dead skin cells and also helps the skin to get a radiant appearance.
Hair Treatmet
Castor Oil Mask
Castor Oil is excellent for hair as it strengthens it and helps to treat damaged ends. Unfortunately it is a bit difficult to use as it is very viscous. Now that you have time you can dilute castor oil with a little melted coconut oil, apricot oil or some other lighter oil and apply it to the hair. Leave for 30 – 40 minutes and bathe. You will be impressed by the result!
